PRESENTATION

KET Speaking Test

Part 1 (5-6 minutes)

In Part 1, students respond to specific questions about themselves. The
examiner will ask them questions about their family, their school, hobbies,
daily routines, likes and dislikes, what they do, where they live, etc...
Students should develop their answers as much as they can. So if the
examiner asks you, for example, if you play a sport, do not simply answer
́Yes ́, but explain which sport you like, when and where you play it and
why you like it. The examiner will also ask you to spell your name so
practice spelling all parts of your name (name and surnames) and make
sure you can do it perfectly.

KET Speaking Test

Part 2 (3-4 minutes)

In Part 2, you will need ask and answer questions and interact with your
partner. The examiner will give Candidate A a card with some information
on it, and Candidate B a card with five questions (Candidate A answers,
Candidate B asks). When A and B have asked and answered the questions,
the roles will then be reversed, with Candidate B receiving an information
card and Candidate A a question card (Candidate B answers, Candidate A
asks).
